Queen's Birthday

We are married! The front quarters of the apartment smell like Raid. Neil arrived from work early in the afternoon and found the kitchen teeming with ants. At work, probably around the same time, Diana suddenly pictured "ANTS!" as a good name for a horror flick. This demonstrates ESP. Or the ability to remember the names of films made barely 8 years ago.

Marriage is nice, so far. My mind is a delicious soup, secondary to fatigue. Thank you, friends, family and the weather, for a lovely wedding. We are happy.

I just read James M. Cain's Mildred Pierce and found it highly enjoyable. You should read it too.

We got free beer.

Ah, yes, ants. It's the time of year when I carefully look at the carpet each morning to see if it's moving. Sorry you had to come home to that. And sorry you had to immediately go back to work. Glad you had a wonderful honeymoon. I'm still enjoying the wedding memories. It was splendid!

Dennis has a friend who is working on the wedding video situation. Should be ready in a few days. I hope you've had a chance to catch your breath!

It's great to be home. Sara and Erik's wedding, in Spring Green, was very cool and was a fantastic conclusion to our honeymoon. We will appreciate this upcoming weekend and all the langorous sleeping in it will entail!

Glad to have been able to be with you in Tucson. Had a great time. Ants respond to the little Combat or other such treatment, when these little flat cannisters are placed near where they come in. That is, in Utah they do. They somehow carry the whatever is inside back to the nest and get the queen. In a few days no more ants. Other companies also make these little pest control items. We got ours at Smiths in the plant department. Happy anting from Aunt E.
