Did you send that email yet? Brother, I have faith in you.
Why don't you work in the UA sleep lab?
i would apply if i could drag myself out of bed. it's really a catch-22, uh-huh it is.
Does my profile picture just make you want to get that hair out of the way? It's starting to drive me batty.
no, because it's soft, not greasy.
How to thread a bobbin is rather simple but needs a bit of special attention. First, remove the bobbin from the case. Second, turn the CENTER PART OF THE WHEEL back towards you to loosen it. This releases the needle action. Third, place thread to go on the bobbin on the spindle, and wind it around the bobbin enough to secure it--maybe two or three loops, as if you were winding it on. Then, place the bobbin onto the little spindle (mine is just left of the wheel, under a latched lid, which is lifted up.) Now, slowly, at first press the pedal, and the thread should begin winding onto the bobbin. If it doesn't you have wound the starter bit the wrong way so reverse it and away you go. It will automatically stop when the bobbin is full. Good luck. When you are done, remove, retighten the center part of the wheel, and replace the bobbin in the bobbin case. Let me know how this turns out.
Another little tidbit - Try to remember to have the needle in the UP position as you begin and the needle won't come unthreaded when you start to sew. Also, make one turn with the wheel as you hold onto the top thread. This will bring up the bobbin thread, and then pull BOTH top and bottom threads to the back, behind the needle. This helps keep threads from tangling.
Let me know how this turns out.
Hey, Neil, Just tell everyone you know you are job looking and what you want. Have you tried Monster.com? They're a great job search. Try working for a Temporary service. Yes, I know, dumb, but they frequently hire from their Temporary Pool. I worked Temporary for quite a few years in my former life before retirement. Network, network network, and don't be timid. You've a lot going for you.
Hey, I'm still learning. I accidentally got my HOW TO THREAD A BOBBIN comment on twice, so deleted one. Then I intermixed that with a comment on Neil's job search. No wonder they send old folks to the funny farm. Check out my Grandma Hyde spot and share your Christmas memories.
